Insights on Derivatives - Regulatory update (10 September 2026)
The UK Parliament has returned to business following the summer recess, with a new Prime Minister and Chancellor of the Exchequer now setting the direction of government policy. Although HM Treasury's Growth and Competitiveness Strategy is unlikely to be affected, our panel will consider how the wider regulatory agenda may continue to evolve. During the call they will highlight key developments to keep an eye on over the end of 2026 and into 2027, in particular relating to EMIR, commodities, CRR, reporting requirements and other reforms, comparing the UK and EU approaches where relevant.
