Signing using electronic signatures is not new. To date it has had limited traction, however that is changing in light of current circumstances. Many people are working remotely and need to sign documents. This new reality brings electronic signatures to the fore. We consider different types of electronic signatures, relevant considerations to take into account when contemplating signing using an electronic signature and circumstances when electronic signatures may not be appropriate.
